Haptron Scientific with Photon Series Force Sensors Appears at Hong Kong Station of International High Performance Medical Equipment Exhibition to Expand International Market

Haptron Scientific  (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Haptron Scientific") was once again invited by the Shenzhen Municipal Government to participate in the International High-performance Medical Devices Exhibition (Hong Kong Station). The exhibition will last for 4 days from June 20 to June 23 at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.

Haptron Scientific the only technology company that provides optical force sensors and overall force solutions in the International High Performance Medical Devices Exhibition (Hong Kong Station). At the exhibition, Haptron Scientific displayed Photon series products and their application demo, attracting a large number of international customers to stop and visit. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on the current combination and application of orthopedic surgical medical devices, vascular surgical medical devices and force sensors.

Around the core goal of "endowing medical devices with high performance perception ability", Haptron Scientific has brought three sets of mature products:

The first is a Photon_micro series of multi-dimensional force sensors that can be applied to the interior of medical endoscopes. The sensor is independently developed by Haptron Scientific. It is currently the smallest rigid multi-dimensional force sensor in the world. The diameter of the sensor is only 8mm. At the same time, a 4mm middle hole is reserved in the Photon micro sensor center, which can enable various wire harnesses to pass through easily, providing better product design convenience for downstream medical device manufacturers and being compatible with soft/hard endoscopes of various specifications. The coordination force visualization system can monitor the contact force between the instrument and the organ tissue, and the doctor can intuitively understand the touch information of each operation, effectively avoiding the damage caused by excessive end force in extreme cases, thus improving the safety of the operation and ensuring the health of the patient.

Secondly, Photon series force sensors can be equipped with various medical devices. This series of force sensors are also independently developed by Haptron Scientific. It is the world's first non-laser light source force sensor developed based on optical principles. High-end medical devices are the main track for the development of force sensors. Medical robots are the comprehensive embodiment of the application of various force sensing technologies. Photon series force sensors are optimized for specific medical and robotic scenarios and have specific advantages. They can be used on medical devices including porous laparoscopic surgery robots, orthopedic surgery robots and interventional surgery robots, effectively making up for the lack of force perception of traditional surgery robots and enabling doctors to better perform surgery operations.

Finally, the Photon_Hap intelligent algorithm based on force sensing, which is based on the independent research and development of Photon series force sensors, can provide an overall force control solution for the target medical scene, including the "force control exploration algorithm for robots and instruments on high-order flexible curved surfaces" designed and developed for automatic interaction between instruments and human body, and the "multi-modal and multi-dimensional perception fusion algorithm" developed for improving contact accuracy ". Under the control of the algorithm, the constant force contact of the end of the medical device can be achieved. At the same time, Photon Hap, as a supporting system of Photon series force sensors, can be connected and integrated with various medical device control systems to provide efficient support for the control and operation of the overall medical device.

The international high-performance medical equipment exhibition was held in Shenzhen and Hong Kong in the form of "one exhibition, two cities. The exhibition is guided by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, organized by the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission and other departments, and hosted by the China Medical Device Industry Association. In order to further implement the major national strategic layout and promote the integrated, international and high-end development of Shenzhen-Hong Kong industrial clusters, the exhibition focuses on displaying the representative achievements of "innovative high-end" medical devices in the Greater Bay area. and to create a global high-end medical device industry communication platform.

On June 21, Huang Min, vice mayor of Shenzhen, Lu Chongmao, director of the Medical and Health Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative region Government, relevant responsible comrades of the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission and the Hong Kong Department of Health and other leaders attended the exhibition site to visit the technical achievements of major medical device enterprises.
